USF Blogs is a free service and an environment
which ETS provides for all faculty, staff and students to use for blogging or to create
a website. It’s powered by WordPress. USF Blogs can be an useful tool for classroom
activities, course resources; program information, journalism, e-portfolio or reflection. With just one-click, all USF users can easily
self-enroll for an account by visiting usfblogs.usfca.edu. Then choose from our in-house USF templates
or from hundreds of WordPress templates to begin your project. Adding a new post is easy. They are organized in reverse-chronological
order with dates, authors, categories and tags; either save it as a draft, publish immediately
or later. You can also allow comments. Stand-alone pages can be added to your blogs
to create a website. For example, you can build a page for your
bio and cv, a photo gallery, a video, a location map, a poll, or a contact form. There are numerous plugins and widgets available
for you to jazz up your site such as RSS feeds, calendar, social share buttons, etc. Lots of possibilities, and you can use endless creativity
to start your blog today with USF Blogs.
