PEACE BE UPON YOU ! How are you all today? Who doesn’t like Tandoori Chicken but whenever we feel like eating it we either order it or go to a restaurant What if we can make the same Tandoori without tandoor or oven at the convenience of our homes? Come lets make it in our very own kitchen. Roast these for a minute and grind to make a powder we need to make a coarse powder These lend a good color. we will soak them in warm water for some time Then make a paste of it in a mixer. Please remove the seeds before making a paste. lets marinate the chicken First lets put some gashes on the chicken leg make the gashes keeping a little gap in between make gashes on both sides. Recipe link for garam masala powder is in the description i have slightly roasted and crushed the dried fenugreek leaves Add the kashmiri chilli paste that we made. The powder of the spices that we made we will add that too. mix well we will coat the chicken legs with this paste thoroughly fill the gashes with the paste so that the flavour penetrates properly. we have coated the chicken legs properly marinate these for around 2 hours by putting them in the fridge. The chicken is marinated. I have removed it from the fridge a little while ago. Take one tbsp oil in a pan Lay the chicken legs let them fry for 5 minutes on one side on a high flame. We have cooked them for about 5 minutes on one side we will turn them now we need to cook them for about 4 to 5 minutes on this side also. cook them on high flame. i am igniting a coal simultaneously on another burner. because we will give it a smokey flavour. After that we will coat it with some butter and grill over flame cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame. so that the chicken becomes tender. Turn them now we will turn them over and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame. lets check our chicken Put the flame off now. Place a container add the burning coal in it add some butter now cover it and let the smoke penetrate. This will give a different flavour to the chicken It will taste just like we get in a restaurant. The flame is off. Let us keep it this way for a while. The smokey flavour has penetrated properly. now we will remove the container. Now please keep watching the final stage.
